Data Definition
Hatchery programs are defined as being a single release, or a group of releases, that are sourced from the same broodstock and that are released into the same subbasin. Releases from a broodstock source that are then released into a different subbasin, either acclimated (hatchery, co-op facility) or directly planted via planting truck, are considered to be independent hatchery programs.
